Where It All Began
From its humble beginnings on Lydia Larson’s ironing board in 1919, Larson’s Garden Center continues to grow.
Larson’s Farm was a familiar sight on Route 6 in Bristol, Connecticut, for nearly 107 years. The produce stand, which started on an ironing board, got its start long before highways were numbered. Larson’s has changed over the years, as does anything that grows.

Whether it be garden pests, fertilizing, or growing something new, I always know that I can get quality advice alongside quality products. I particularly like their selection of soil options. Plus, they have this little shopping cart sometimes that my little guys can push around. They’ve done more for a next generation of gardeners with that cart than I have with years of patient instructions.
