Pale Blue-Green Pumpkins: Likely Jarrahdale or Blue Doll (Cucurbita maxima), known for their slate-blue rinds, deep ribs, and sweet, dense orange flesh.

Tan, “Peanut-Encrusted” Pumpkins: Galeux d’Eysines (often called the peanut pumpkin). The warty, peanut-shell-like growths are sugar deposits caused by skin cracking as sugars build up in the rind.

Buff / Muted Tan Ribbed Pumpkin: A Long Island Cheese or cured Musquée de Provence (Cucurbita moschata), prized for smooth, dense pie-baking flesh.

Vibrant Red-Orange Ribbed Pumpkins: Rouge Vif d’Étampes (the classic “Cinderella” pumpkin), a French heirloom with a flattened, deeply lobed shape.

Dark Mottled Green Squashes: Deep-green winter squashes, typically Kabocha or Buttercup varieties, known for dry, nutty, sweet flesh.

Small Whites and Stripes (edges): Ornamental mini gourds and pumpkins, such as Baby Boo and Sweet Dumpling.

Are you open year-round? We are opened from Early spring until Christmas. We then take a long winter nap and start planning for our next season.

Do you carry houseplants? Yes, tropical and houseplants we have many to choose from.

Do you offer gift cards? Yes both digital and knew we U.S. mail with special notes.

Whether it be garden pests, fertilizing, or growing something new, I always know that I can get quality advice alongside quality products. I particularly like their selection of soil options.

Plus, they have this little shopping cart sometimes that my little guys can push around. They've done more for a next generation of gardeners with that cart than I have with years of patient instruction.
